It’s impossible to predict what Manchester City will look like next season under Pep Guardiola, but that hasn’t stopped people from trying.
Spanish publication Sport predicted just five members of the current squad would be first-choice picks next season, while Tony Cascarino has gone with the same number.
But Cascarino’s line-up, revealed on Sky Sports – with Joe Hart, Vincent Kompany, Kevin de Bruyne, David Silva and Sergio Aguero the only survivors – hasn’t gone down too well.
Mind you, it’s probably the new additions who have brought the former Ireland international most of the criticism.

One of the best squads in Europe and a near-unlimited budget, and people think he’ll move for Seamus Coleman and Marcelo? Twitter isn’t convinced.
Saying that, most Irish fans would likely be pretty happy to see Coleman starting regularly in a Champions League, title-challenging side.

And given that Pep turned his right back at Bayern, Philipp Lahm, into an accomplished central midfielder maybe Seamus Coleman could become the new Roy Keane.
