Gordon Strachan is not a happy boy.
His side have let their advantage over Ireland in Group D slip. The Scots now one point adrift of Martin O’Neill’s men with three games left in the race for the third-place playoff spot for Euro ’16.
Their loss to Georgia on Friday evening was somewhat of a choke at the wrong time but the manager wasn’t happy as he gave a tetchy post-match press conference.
I sincerely hope Gordon Strachan's private analysis of that performance is different to his public one.

Starts by pointing out he has "40 years experience in football"… ie "I know what I'm talking about. You lot don't."

But his night probably got better after the questions from a critical media. Right?
Further good news: plane home is delayed.

Not so.
The Scottish are stranded in Georgia after someone somewhere cocked up their return flight.
They won’t arrive home until 6am on Saturday morning. Then they just have the small matter of playing the world champions on Monday.
Good luck to the poor lad who had to break that news to Gordon.
Scotland's chartered plane hasn't turned up at the airport. Another SFA cock up. Players won't be back until 6am. Two days before Germany.

Tblisi update. Still no plane. Now being told the earliest we’ll get away is 2.45am. Lots of pissed off players milling around.
