Aston Villa haven’t made things easy for themselves this season.
The Premier League’s bottom club have won just twice in the league and are 10 points adrift of safety.
Remi Garde’s team have been slightly more successful in the cup competitions, reaching the fourth round in both the FA and Capital One Cups.
But according to this BBC update, they’ve been their worst enemy in one of those competitions too.

The midlands club were trailing Manchester City, of course, but with former Villa captain Fabian Delph bossing the midfield perhaps there was some unconscious mockery in there too.
They lost 4-0 in the end. We’re not sure if it was to Man City or themselves. We are sure that they lost though. Obviously.
