Sam Allardyce is now in charge of Sunderland so we doubt he has too much time to be looking at his former club results.
And there are many.
But his recent previous employers, West Ham, decided to jettison the ex-Limerick City boss in the summer.
Allardyce was expected to take a break from football, but turned up in Sunderland as their season lurched from once crisis to another in the early months of the new campaign.
He was replaced by Slaven Bilic as the Hammers manager, and they got off to an incredible start to the season, recording away wins at Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City.
However, their attempt to record a fourth major win on the road came to a shuddering halt this afternoon as they lost 4-1 to Tottenham.
And the result means that after the opening 13 games of this season, despite all those big wins away from home, and the so called ‘improved style’ under the Croat, they have the exact same amount of point as last season under ‘Big Sam.’
Exactly.
