Seemingly, Liverpool's Sadio Mane was amongst those to take delight in United coming up short. The Senegalese winger's Instagram activity on Tuesday night saw some suggest he was poking fun at his side's great rivals.
On his Instagram Story, Mane shared an image of a television, showing the the score during the game's closing stages. He accompanied this with the word 'Hummm,' enough for him to cement his status as a 'legend' with the person sending the tweet below.

Soon after, Mane stuck up another image to his Instagram Story. This time it showed him laughing during a training session along with a laughing face emoji.
In isolation, this might have seemed innocent enough, but given its timing, many interpreted it as being as thinly veiled dig at United.
