It’s hardly a secret that Ryan Giggs has been looking to get into football management at some point.
Now, it appears he’s set to be given his first full-time manager’s position.
According to Sky Sports, the former Manchester United winger will become the new manager of Wales, taking the job on a four-year deal after edging out Craig Bellamy for the position.

The news is expected to be confirmed on Monday, with the Football Association calling a news conference in Cardiff in the afternoon. Giggs will succeed Chris Coleman, who famously guided Wales to the Euro 2016 semi-finals.
Giggs stepped in as caretaker manager of United following the departure of David Moyes towards the end of the 2013/14 season. After overseeing their end to the season, Giggs acted as Louis van Gaal’s assistant for two years. He left this role when the Dutchman was sacked in 2016, despite reportedly being offered a deal to remain part of United’s coaching setup by Jose Mourinho.
