Ruben Amorim has opened up on Alejandro Garnacho's 'punishment' following his reaction to being subbed off against Ipswich Town on Wednesday night.
United went down to 10 men just before half-time on Wednesday after Patrick Dorgu was shown a straight red card.
In an attempt to reorganise his squad, Garnacho was forced to make way for Mazraoui which the Argentina international did not take too kindly to.
He headed down the tunnel and did not rejoin his teammates in the dugout after half time.
Man United recovered from the setback to win the game 3-2.
In an update to the press, Amorim revealed that Garnacho had approached him with an explanation.
He said: "It was funny because the next day he came to my office. I did some investigations, he went to the dressing room to change his clothes because he was wet.
"He watched the game, not in the bench, and at the end of the game he was there and went home. So it is not an issue.
"But at a big club like Manchester United everything is important and perception is important. He is going to pay a dinner to all the team and that is it."
Amorim was quick to exile Marcus Rashford from his squad before he went on loan to Aston Villa but Amorim stressed the situation with Garnacho was different.
He said: "He is a young kid that will learn. The important thing is that in the next morning he was speaking with me. We need to see the small things in walking out to the pitch."
Garnacho has not been disciplined and will be available for selection on Sunday against Fulham in the FA Cup, however his fitness remains a doubt.
Amorim clarified: "He has a knock, when he went to shoot was blocked inside the box. I expect for him to be ready but we will see."
