The revolution will not be televised (at least not the first 25 minutes anyway).
We’ve all done it. You’re sure you’re playing at home, positive. No need to check the fixture list, you just know.
But then you turn up to the ground and the gates are locked.
You were playing away. And now your late. Bollocks.
Poor old RTÉ had a bit of a ‘mare on Monday night when it came to the Dublin derby between St Patrick’s Athletic and Bohemians.
Or Bohemians versus St Pat’s, as RTÉ saw it.
Hi @RTERadio1, just listening to your sports news. Can you let people know tonight's game with @bfcdublin is in Richmond Park, not Dalymount

That tweet from the hosts two hours before kick-off at Richmond Park was clearly not heeded out at Montrose, which meant the national broadcaster were high-tailing it from Phibsboro to Inchicore as the host side sped into a 2-0 lead.
RTE cameraman missed the opening 25 minutes tonight. He went to Dalymount just like RTE radio who said the game was there all day

Eagle-eyed viewers of Soccer Republic last night may have noticed the slightly different camera angle and colour tone on the footage for the first two goals from Mark Timlin and Christy Fagan and the second half effort of Billy Dennehy.
Lucky the FAI sold the international rights for the streaming of their games to Austrian firm Trackchamp, who we assume were also in attendance.
