Roy Keane pinpoints Man United’s weak spot ahead of Liverpool game

Robert Redmond

“It looks like there are good days ahead for Liverpool.”

Roy Keane appeared as a pundit on Sky Sports on Sunday afternoon.

The former Republic of Ireland midfielder was a guest for Sky’s coverage of Liverpool’s game against Manchester United.

And Keane had no choice but to admit that Liverpool are currently ahead of his old side.

Jurgen Klopp’s team started the day 16 points ahead of United after 16 games of the campaign.

While Liverpool look set to be Manchester City’s closest challengers for the Premier League title this season, United could be fortunate to even finish in the top four.

Keane said there are “good days” ahead for Liverpool, but said Jose Mourinho’s team will have to “dig deep” to get a result.

The former United captain also pinpointed the team’s defence as the weak point of the side.
