"I like Graeme Souness," Keane continued.
"Growing up I watched him as a player, I thought he was a brilliant player so he always had that influence on me in the way he played.
"What he won. I have done some work with him and he thinks along the same lines as me."
Presenter Dave Jones then joked about Keane not picking Richards, saying 'spare a thought for poor Micah Richards.'
Keane responded by saying: "I'm not picking him, no chance, Jesus!"
