You know it’s bad when Roy is telling you to cheer up.
Roy Keane left the rest of the ITV pundits in stitches after his comments about Pep Guardiola’s pre-match interview.
Guardiola spoke to ITV before Manchester City’s FA Cup Fourth Round tie against Arsenal on Friday night. The Spaniard, however, didn’t seem to be in the best of moods.
The Man City boss made headlines after slamming his players – and the club’s supporters – in the aftermath of their 4-2 win against Tottenham last week.
His mood didn’t seem to have improved that much as he bluntly replied “More than welcome” when asked if he would share a drink with Arsenal boss – and his former assistant manager – Mikel Arteta.
Both Keane and Ian Wright weren’t impressed with Guardiola’s behaviour and the fiery pundit told him to cheer up.
He said: “I think Pep should smile a bit more – and that’s coming from me!”

Keane’s response left Mark Pougatch and Wright in fits of laughter as the no-nonsense pundit’s tongue-in-cheek comment.
City advanced to the fifth round after Nathan Ake’s second-half strike was enough to see off the Gunners, who will now turn their attention back to solidifying their place at the top of the Premier League.

The two sides meet in the league for the first time on February 15 in a game that will almost certainly have a huge say in who finishes where in the title race.
