Let’s make this clear from the start: Yes, we know.
With so much resting on the game between AS Roma and Liverpool, it was inevitable there’d be a fair bit of interest in the starting line-ups.
As is usually the way ahead of any game nowadays, let alone a Champions League semi-final, a few ‘leaked’ bits of team news started to circulate on Twitter in the hours before the line-ups were made official.
Most were incorrect, as was blatantly obvious with the one shared by the @LFCTransferRoom account, who predicted Adam Bogdan to start in goal behind a number of… err… memorable former Liverpool stars.
‘Please nobody show this to @ASRomaEN’, their post finished.
That account – Roma’s official English language one – did get to see that particular line-up and, given their track record for funny tweets, it came as no surprise to learn that the person in charge of it went ahead and shared it with 195,000 followers.
‘This is how we think #LFC will line up tonight for #RomaLFC,’ they tweeted.

Liverpool took a 5-2 first leg lead to the Eternal City, although Roma’s two late goals at Anfield were enough to keep the tie alive. Better hope Paul Konchesky’s on his game.
Here’s how the two teams will actually line out:
