What a tremendous time to be a pilot, or owner, of bi-planes.
A recently formed group of disenfranchised Liverpool supporters are seeking to raise money for a ‘Rodgers Out’ banner to be flown over Anfield during the club’s next home game.
@RodgersOutGroup was set up on Twitter, on April 4, after the Reds lost 4-1 to Arsenal.
The sole function of the group, which has picked up more than 4,600 followers in just under three weeks, is to get Brendan Rodgers drop-kicked out of his manager’s job at Liverpool.
The group has been vocal about removing the Northern Irishman but Sunday’s 2-1 FA Cup semi-final loss to Aston Villa has seen them ramp up their ire.
£120m spent in the summer and we can’t even beat an Aston Villa team managed by Tim Sherwood with Shay Given in goal. Absolute disgrace.

We will be organising a #RodgersOut protest march to take place before Liverpool’s home game against QPR on 2nd May. Enough is enough.

The plane protest tweet – ‘We are looking to hire a plane to fly over Anfield carrying a #RodgersOut banner before our home game against QPR. Donations are welcome’ was posted on Sunday but has since been deleted.
It remains to be seen whether a plane, banner or march against Rodgers will materialise on May 2, when Liverpool host QPR.
