He’s gonna start banging them in, isn’t he?
He might have found the net just seven times in 52 Premier League appearances for Tottenham (and four of them were penalties), but White Hart Lane reject Roberto Soldado has wasted little time in rediscovering his goalscoring form in La Liga.
The 30-year-old endured a miserable two seasons in London following a £26million move from Valencia, finally being offloaded to Villarreal for just £10million earlier this month.
Now back in Spain, where he scored 109 goals in 191 league games prior to heading for England, it hasn’t taken long for Soldado to get back amongst the goals.
Just 32 minutes, in fact.

Soldado scored on debut for Villareal? Exactly which ancient burial ground is White Hart Lane built on? #coys #thfc
