Roberto Firmino has been quite a disappointment to most Liverpool fans since his big money switch to Merseyside last summer.

The forward was meant to have the workrate of a young Luis Suarez, and was hotly chased by Manchester United before Liverpool beat them to his signing.

He may not have sparkled on the pitch yet, but at least he’s putting himself to use off it by apparently convincing Alexandre Pato to sign for the Reds.

According to reports in Italy, and from journalist Alfredo Pefulla, Liverpool have agreed an £11million pound deal for the forward.

The Corinthians player is set to formalize the deal in the coming days, and apparently has been talked into the agreement not only by Jurgen Klopp, but by Firmino and fellow Brazilian Philippe Coutinho.

He is understood to have rejected an offer top play in China over the weekend in order to secure the move to England

The hype over a possible deal for the forward has also gone into overdrive after his personal Instagram account’s latest update

The translation reads ‘Believe in dreams’ so whether that means he’s taken a class in sleepy time analysis by Carl Jung or has always dreamed of playing alongside Jordan Henderson, we may soon find out.
