The exodus out of Bayern Munich could be about to begin.
The club are losing manager Pep Guardiola in the summer, and now one of their to two key strikers, and a man Irish fans know all too much about, looks set for a move to Spain.
There has long been rumours of Robert Lewandowski leaving Germany for a new challenge, having won everything possible with Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich over the last five years.
Everything except a European Cup, of course.
And it seems to fulfill that ambition the Poland striker has taken step one towards a move to Real Madrid.
It’s being widely reported today that his agent Cezary Kucharski has confirmed that talks are underway with Los Blancos for a summer move.
“There is something going on with Real Madrid”
The comments were made as the Bayern frontman was awarded the Polish Player of the Year award for the fifth time in a row.

His agent is understood to have accepted the award on his client’s behalf, and answered in the affirmative when asked about the truth the Guinness World Record holder could be heading to Spain this summer.
It was thought Lewandowski may stick around in Germany for one season under Carlo Ancelotti, but if a deal for him to move to Real Madrid does become a reality, it may increase rumours that Karim Benzema is on his way to England.
