Robbie Keane needs your help to captain the MLS All-Star team he was initially excluded from

Now that's a comeback

Vote for Keano

Scoring a hat-trick tends to get your noticed so maybe that’s the reason for the MLS’ change of heart on Robbie Keane.

The Irishman was somewhat bizarrely excluded from the initial MLS All-Star squad with Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard named at the Dubliner’s expense earlier this month.

But it seems that was all a big mistake as Keane is very much part of the squad and he may even get a chance to captain the team.

The MLS are running a competition to see who should get to lead out the All-Stars against Tottenham Hotspur in Commerce City, Colorado and Keane will have to battle it out with Kaka and Michael Bradley for the honour.

It’s a Snapchat competition and here’s how it works

Follow ‘mls’ on Snapchat and then tune into the story with the three men’s pictures.

Take a screenshot of the player you want to be captain and then vote

Voting  is already underway since Saturday and will finish on Sunday night.

So get snapping.
