Reports last week suggested Leicester City have cooled their interest in Robbie Brady.
The Premier League champions were considered to be in pole position to land the Republic of Ireland star, but have reportedly backed away after being quoted a price of £20 million.

Southampton, West Brom, West Ham, Stoke City and Sunderland are also believed to be interested in signing Brady, but could also be put off by his new price tag.
Considering Brady’s talent, age and displays at Euro 2016, as well as the inflated prices in the transfer market due to the new television deal, £20m is arguably the going rate for the player who joined Norwich from Hull City last summer for £7m.
But, if the aforementioned clubs really are put off by the price, then there’s another club interested who may be prepared to meet Brady’s asking price.
According to The Sunday Sun, Everton are chasing Brady, and have the funds to match Norwich’s valuation.
The 24-year-old, who played predominantly at left-back for Norwich last season, would arguably be an ideal long-term replacement for Toffees’ defender Leighton Baines.
Everton were recently bought by billionaire Farhad Moshiri, broke the bank to land Ronald Koeman as manager from Southampton and are reportedly preparing to back him with record transfer funds this summer.
If Brady were to join the club, he’d link up with Ireland teammates Seamus Coleman, James McCarthy, Darron Gibson and Aiden McGeady.
