Richard Dunne is set to become the latest former Irish international to try his hand at punditry.
Kevin Kilbane is a regular on BBC and TV3, Shay Given pops up on BT Sports, Setanta and BBC, while Damien Duff has covered some Champions League games for RTE.
Their former teammate Dunne is the latest veteran of the Republic of Ireland’s 2002 World Cup squad to join the punditry ranks. The recently retired central defender will be on TV3’s Champions League coverage on Tuesday.

Dunne will be alongside Kilbane and former Ireland manager Brian Kerr for Manchester City’s Champions League quarter-final second-leg with Paris Saint-Germain.
Unfortunately for the 36 year old Dubliner, who spent nine years with City between 2000 and 2009, David Luiz is suspended for the game. But if the standard of defending matches the 2-2 draw in the first leg, Dunne could have a busy punditry debut.
