A new report suggests that Mario Gotze is heading to Anfield this summer.
Reliable football scribe Paul Joyce has reported in the Express that Liverpool are going to land the World Cup winner with a bargain fee.
The player is out of favour at Bayern Munich and wants out of the Allianz Arena. It is thought that he has privately indicated that he would like to link back up with Jurgen Klopp, whom he played a starring role under while at Borussia Dortmund.
Gotze asked about Klopp and Liverpool contact.

Gotze hasn’t enjoyed the best of times since moving to Bayern Munich, struggling to find form and win over Pep Guardiola, who has only given him one Bundesliga start since October.
Despite the fact that Guardiola is set to move to Manchester City in the summer, it is understood that Gotze wants that move to Liverpool. He has one year remaining on his contract at Bayern which is why the fee will be comparatively low by modern-day standards. Joyce reckons the fee will be somewhere in the region of £15-20 million.
