Bastian Schweinsteiger is heading to Old Trafford, according to reports in Germany.
The German has been perpetually linked with a move to Manchester United this summer after apparently falling out with Bayern boss Pep Guardiola.
Louis van Gaal, who has worked with the German before, has been keeping an eye on his movements this window to see if he could lure him to Old Trafford.
German newspaper Bild is now reporting that the midfielder has agreed to join the Red Devils after striking a deal with the club.
It is understood that a £14million fee has been struck between Bayern and United, with Schweinsteiger agreeing terms on a three-year contract worth £7 million a year.
