According to BBC Sport, Liverpool have made contact with Jurgen Klopp’s representatives as the club seek to replace Brendan Rodgers.
The Northern Irishman was sacked yesterday after three years in charge, and Klopp, who achieved phenomenal success with Borussia Dortmund is, according to the BBC, “understood to be open to the idea of a move.”

It’s believed that Liverpool’s American owners hope to have a new manager in place by the time of the club’s next fixture, away to Spurs on October 17th.
Rodgers is also said to be “devastated” following his dismissal.
