Martin O’Neill might have another top-flight option to consider in the New Year.
Republic of Ireland midfielder Alan Judge could be about to graduate to the Premier League.
Reports in the London Evening Standard suggest the classy Brentford man is on the radar of a number of clubs in England’s top division, with Leicester, Swansea and Bournemouth all watching the 26-year-old Dubliner in recent weeks.
Judge, who has found the net six times already this season, has yet to be capped at senior level but has featured in manager O’Neill’s last three provisional squads and a January move to the Premier League would certainly help bring forward his international breakthrough.
