REPORT: A Chelsea summer signing wants to leave already

He gave it a whirl

Patrick McCarry

Many of you have been there before. You leave one job after a few, happy years and try to get settled at your new post. Settling in can be tough. They even keep the tea bags UNDER the sink. Who does that?!

It is a little over two months since Pedro joined Chelsea from Barcelona.

The versatile attacker signed for Jose Mourinho’s side for £21m and, after some convincing phone conversations were revealed, Cesc Fabregas’ wife took all the glory.

It all started so well for the Spanish international too. He score a goal and provided an assist on his debut. His next six games have proved somewhat tougher, as they have for most of the Chelsea squad.

Two wins, a draw and three defeats followed with a sole assist registered. Pedro has also found himself missing out on games due to Mourinho’s scattergun rotation policy.

He missed the West Ham defeat with a knock but is hoping to feature in Saturday’s clash with Liverpool.

Even so, a report has emerged from Spain that Pedro is regretting his move to London and has already asked his agent to scout about for a possible Spanish return.

Spanish media outlet Fichajes say Pedro has told friends he would go back to Barcelona without a second’s thought, even if it meant him being on the bench.
