Pure class from everyone at Celtic
Remember Jay Beatty? He’s the 11-year-old Celtic fan who became an internet sensation when Giorgios Samaras picked him up and made him part of the club’s title celebrations when they won the title last May.
Samaras subsequently invited him to Brazil to watch Greece play in the World Cup.
Jay, who has Down’s Syndrome, was back on Saturday, banging in a goal in front of the travelling fans at Hamilton’s New Douglas Park.
Judging by this video Jay seemed to enjoy it just a bit.

Jay’s father Martin posted the latest video on his Facebook page with the following, heartfelt message:
‘I have left the best to Last…when Jay was born We hoped and prayed that People would treat him with respect, Because of his love of the greatest club in the world his life has become a Dream come true, we thought 2014 was just amazing but today was something else and to have a whole stadium including the Hamilton fans chanting your sons name will live with me forever. I will never forget it and cannot thank you all enough for making my Sons life…We are a club like no other with Fans like no other and we are so proud of you all…Hail Hail’
Given Celtic’s up and down form this season Jay can probably expect a call from Ronny Deila any day now.
