Real Madrid’s Isco scores an outrageous goal and the close control is so good

"He's got nowhere to go!"

Paul Moore

Superb.

With two-thirds of the B.B.C not exactly firing on all cylinders for Real Madrid in recent weeks, there has been a growing clamor from Madridistas to play their supremely talented playmaker Isco from the start.

Given that the European champions are currently facing a rigorous schedule with the doubleheader against Bayern Munich coming off the back of a tough match against Atletico Madrid in La Liga, it was only natural that Zinedine Zidane would make changes for their trip to Gijon.

Well, after seeing Isco’s superb strike for Real, it appears that Zidane’s decision to start the Spanish international has been fully vindicated.

This being said, Real haven’t had things their own way because the league leaders fell behind after Croatian striker Duje Cop gave the hosts the lead.

It didn’t take Real long to reply though as Isco squared things up with this superb goal.

It’s impossible not to marvel at this goal because in such a tight space, his close control, technique and finish are absolutely exquisite.

Take a bow.
