The superlatives keep flowing.
Barcelona’s forward trio put on yet another masterclass as the Catalan side thrashed Roma 6-1 at the Camp Nou this evening.
Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez each scored twice, and even though Neymar missed a late penalty, the Brazilian played his part as the triumverate added another chapter to their magical 2015.
Barca’s frontline have now combined for 120 goals in this calendar year, a tally that is put in perspective when you realise it comfortably exceeds Real Madrid’s entire output over the same period.
Messi (42), Neymar (39) and Suárez (39) have scored more official goals for FCB (120) than the entire RMA team (106) in 2015.
