Real Madrid score 10 (TEN) and all anyone can talk about is Ronaldo missing out on a hat-trick

Stunning scoreline

A different type of Decima.

Real Madrid have beaten Rayo Vallecano 10-2 (TEN) in La Liga this afternoon in an incredible game that saw the visitors reduced to nine men.

Los Blancos were trailing the relegation battlers 2-1 at a restless Bernabeu before Rayo had Tito sent off after 15 minutes.

Gareth Bale equalised before Jose Raul Baena picked up a second first-half yellow card, and the floodgates soon opened for the hosts.

Bale’s second made it 4-2 before half-time, while Cristiano Ronaldo also scored either side of the break.

The Welsh star added two more to take his tally to four before he was substituted by boss Rafael Benitez as Twitter began to focus on Ronaldo’s growing frustration at missing out on a hat-trick.

Things only got worse for the Portuguese’s ego as Karim Benzema scored twice late on to complete his own hat-trick as Real Madrid got into double figures.

And Twitter certainly took pleasure in watching Ronaldo play third fiddle in Real’s BBC front line.
