Premier League giants will be watching

We can imagine Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea all getting their chequebooks out if these two are on the market.

Reports in Spain suggest that Real Madrid are increasingly likely to shake things up this summer, with some big stars ready to be shipped out of the Bernabeu.

James Rodriguez and Isco are the latest names to be linked with moves away from the club, with well-source newspaper Marca claiming their ‘days may well be numbered’.

Marca reckons the duo, who cost Real a combined €110million, are playing for their futures during the final third of the season under new boss Zinedine Zidane.

“Right now the pair find themselves under major scrutiny from the Bernabéu honchos on account of their poor performances,” the story reads. “While there is no doubt about their ability, the same cannot be said of their commitment.

“Isco and James are the two players the finger has been pointed at most strongly by the internal inquisition into the club’s plight.

“This explains why their names have been circled in red on the list of possible exits in what is shaping up to be a summer clear-out and overhaul.”
