Paul Pogba is one of the most sought after footballers in the world right now. The 22-year-old’s stellar season in Italy has resulted in him being heavily linked with a move to pretty much every major club in Europe.
Last week, Italian newspaper La Stampa claimed that Real Madrid had stepped up their interest in signing Pogba by making a formal offer to Juventus.
However, on Thursday morning, Real Madrid issued a brief press release on their website categorically denying that they contacted the Serie A club over a possible transfer for the French man.
