Real Madrid agree to personal terms with Liverpool target

Real Madrid have reportedly agreed to personal terms with Roma goalkeeper and Liverpool target Alisson Becker.

According to Mundo Deportivo, a Spanish nationwide daily sports newspaper, Becker has agreed to terms with the European champions but both clubs are still negotiating a transfer fee.

Roma want €80m compared to the €60m that Los Blancos have offered as Madrid look to find a long-term replacement to incumbent goalkeeper Keylor Navas.

Liverpool were chasing the Brazilian international’s signature but manager Jurgen Klopp was reportedly unwilling to meet Roma’s evaluation of the player.

ESPN football journalist Gabrielle Marcotti also confirmed that Roma will try to avoid selling Alisson until after the World Cup.

“AS Roma already helped Liverpool FC out with Mo Salah last year,” Marcotti told ESPN FC.

“They don’t want to let another world beater get away. From Roma’s point of view, it makes sense to wait until after the World Cup and see what kind of tournament he has.”
