Arsenal fans are just super sensitive right now. Ok, you guys?
Another season, another lacklustre Premier League run-in for the Gunners.
Arsenal were top of the league in January, capitalising on the poor form of the league’s traditional contenders such as Chelsea and Manchester United, but their challenge has since fallen apart like a wet cake and the team we were well and truly out of the race before May.
However, the club were dealt some positive injury news recently, with Jack Wilshere playing his first competitive game of the 2015/16 season against Sunderland after coming back from a long battle with injury. To mark this occasion, Arsenal have been posting some of the England midfielder’s best goals for the club which haven’t been getting the type of reaction they would have been hoping for from disgruntled Gooners.
One goal Arsenal shared was Wilshere finishing off a wonderful team move against Norwich in 2013. However, some fans were critical of the club trying to remember the good times after another poor season. While others took exception to caption, “simply unforgettable”.
I’ll show you ‘simply unforgettable’.
Wrong!
Quit living in the past, man.
The king of zing weighs in.
Hit the road, Jack.
