But many people think the lowest point was actually after Rangers scored a consolation. Kenny Miller slotted home with nine minutes (and a final Celtic goal) to go, following a neat one-two with substitute Joe Garner. His reaction was to rush to retrieve the ball out of the net, and run back to the half-way line.
He hardly celebrated and scarcely expressed much joy - that's because he knew it was neither the time nor the place.
Sadly, the stadium powers-that-be weren't quite as attuned to the prevailing mood or context. How did they greet the largely pointless goal amidst a woeful thrashing? By playing fucking goal music. At a humiliating Old Firm game.
