The 20-year-old was presented as the club’s Young Player of the Year at their end of season awards do but it wasn’t the best of receptions for him.
Some tried to show their support, others weren’t having any of it as he accepted his trophy.

His speech was so short, in fact, that he had nothing to say on his manager, Brendan Rodgers.
During his acceptance speech Raheem Sterling thanked his teammates, but no mention of Brendan Rodgers.

But, in more relevant news – relevant as in boys who will actually be there next year – Philippe Coutinho romped home with the Players’ Player of the Year award after Jordan Henderson revealed that he would be very surprised if the Brazilian didn’t win the gong.
