Raheem Sterling hastily deletes Instagram posts aimed at English tabloids

"What's my life come 2"

Raheem Sterling has been catching up on the news and he’s pretty amused at what he’s seen.

As is often the case for successful, young English footballers, Raheem Sterling has racked up some serious column inches in the weird and wonderful world of the British tabloids.

While he was already quite prominent in the red-tops while he was impressing at Liverpool, the coverage of the youngster only intensified after he made the switch to the Etihad Arena and joined Manchester City.

After playing a starring role in City’s 3-0 FA Cup fourth round win over Crystal Palace on Saturday, Sterling spent Sunday evening winding down by keeping himself abreast of important world events.

Instead of finding any of that though, he stumbled across some amazingly dull stories about him in the Daily Mail and the Star and found them so amusing that he felt obliged to screenshot them and upload them to his Instagram account along with a snappy caption.

He laughed off the Mail’s valuation of his Bentley and their obsession with him going to a discount store to buy batteries… the scoundrel.

He also offered up an explanation for his car not being the cleanest while the weather was at its worst.

And as for the coverage of his supposed infatuation with pastries… well, he didn’t really know what to make of that one.

For whatever reason, Sterling has since deleted all three posts.
