Raheem Sterling has an unusual way to spend his spare cash

imagine what he could do with €120k a week

Short back and sides please

We’d love to be a professional footballer just for a day, so we could taste a fraction of their incredible earnings and live off it for the rest of our days.

We’d love a cut of Wayne Rooney’s reported €300k a week wage or even the thousands that Raheem Sterling is currently earning at Liverpool.

Of course the greedy guts player is holding out a for a little bit more from the Reds having turned down a reported €120k a week offer from the club in recent contract talks

So what could he want that extra money for? Some new flash cars? New suits? Or to treat his girlfriend to a few expensive nights out?

Seemingly he would like to use it to hide from the public a bit more and be able to change his hair whenever he wants

According to the Daily Mirror the former QPR trainee has spent his considerable earnings already on a personal barber, a swimming pool and a basketball court at his house so he doesn’t have to bother with the public.

Speaking to the Sunday Times magazine the 20-year-old revealed that he likes to stay out of the public limelight and isn’t into a party lifestyle,

‘In the evenings I prefer to stay home.

If I go out I’m always asked for selfies, so I’ve spent money making my house a fun place. I’ve got an indoor swimming pool, a half-basketball court, a games room and my own barber’s area.

“My girlfriend usually cooks dinner and it will be something like barbecue ribs or chicken wings. Friends come round and we download movies or play Fifa.

“The best part of earning so much is spending it on my family. I bought my mum a beautiful house in Jamaica last year, and it was lovely to see her so excited.’

If he had just asked us we could have told him there’s this deadly Turkish place just around the corner from here. €5 euro for a number 1.

Bargain.
