Raheem Sterling is making it very clear that he wants out of Anfield.
The unsettled player has informed Brendan Rodgers that he wants to be left out of the pre-season tour of the Far East and Australia, according to Andy Hunter of the Guardian.
Sterling has held meetings with the Liverpool boss since returning to training on Monday. It is understood he not only reiterated his desire to  leave this summer but also requested Rodgers to omit him from their upcoming preseason tour.
The Reds are due to leave for Bangkok on Sunday and won’t return to England until Saturday 25 July. However, Sterling has made it clear that he wants to stay firmly put… so that he can leave. (that totally makes sense)
This latest move by Sterling only emphasises how his relations with the club have broken down, which started happening when he rejected a £100,000-a-week contract extension last season. The English attacker has been heavily linked with a move to Man City,  who will no doubt be pleased with these new reports.
