RTÉ’s most notorious pundit was a proud Irish man on Friday evening as he watched his country battle in Bosnia to take the advantage in the Euro 2016 play-offs.
Dunphy lauded Ireland’s character and said that the hosts couldn’t deal with it. And he stated if the next game is decided by who wants it most, Ireland will be going to France.
“They expected the opposition to wilt,” he said of the Bosnians. “But they saw green shirts ready to sweat.”
And it was Seamus Coleman who was the subject of most of his praise.
