The lion has a 90 per cent success rate
A psychic lion in Thailand has predicted the outcome of England’s World Cup quarter final against France.
The Three Lions take on the reigning champions on Saturday night as they bid to reach the semi final of a major tournament for a third successive time under Gareth Southgate.
Saturday’s fixture will arguably be one of – if not – England’s most difficult game on their route to the final in Qatar however, as with any football game, only one side can win.
According to the lion, who is named Chao Boy, has predicted that France will emerge victorious and go onto the semi final.
Chao Boy has gone viral and correctly predicted the winner in every game so far however England supporters can take some comfort as according to the zookeeper in Khon Khaen, has a 90 per cent success rate with his predictions.
“Chao Boy has always been considered a favourite in predicting football results,” he told The Sun.
“Whether it’s the World Cup, Euros, or other major football matches, he can predict accurately with 80 or 90 per cent of his guesses being correct.”
All the talk in the build up to this weekend’s game has entered on how England stop Kylian Mbappé.
Mbappé is in fine form and has five goals to his name in the Middle East and tasked with trying to stop one of the best players in the world is expected to be Kyle Walker.
Walker has made two appearances at the tournament so far after missing the first two games through injury and has warned his teammates that their opponents have more than one problem to deal with on the pitch.
