Manchester United are the centre of all the big transfer gossip these days, but for fans seeking something more concrete, the news out of PSV this morning could be just what you are looking for
Memphis Depay, the emerging star of Dutch football, has regularly been linked with a move to the Premier League since featuring for Holland at last year’s World Cup, with Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal all rumoured to have varying degrees of interest in the 21-year-old.
But the strongest links have always been with Manchester United and Depay’s former international boss Louis van Gaal, and with PSV sealing the Eredivisie crown yesterday with a 4-1 win over Heerenveen (which included the stunning free-kick posted below from Depay), the club have confirmed United’s interest in what would be a £20million-plus move.
Manchester United and PSG are officially interested in Memphis Depay, PSV director Marcel Brands has confirmed on Dutch TVchannel Fox Sports

If he can bring this sort of form to England, he’ll be one hell of an addition, wherever he ends up.
