Some Paris Saint-Germain players might be reluctant to return to the French capital after Friday’s attacks, but the club itself continues to show solidarity with the city it represents.
Edinson Cavani reportedly claimed he would prefer not to return to Paris.
But the club’s official Twitter account has shown that PSG’s thoughts are very much with the Parisian citizens affected by the attacks across the city.
Inspired by Jean Jullien’s unifying ‘Peace for Paris’ artwork and incorporating the club’s own badge, the image is as powerful as it is simple.

The club also posted a message of “solidarity and compassion” with the victims of the tragedy, which saw more than 100 people lose their lives.
