People reckon it looks more like two former Liverpool players.
When it comes to the list of the world’s most famous faces, it’s very likely that the name of Cristiano Ronaldo will feature quite highly.
Yeah, that list does exist. We’re certain of it.
The Real Madrid attacker isn’t exactly short of self-confidence, but he must have been absolutely delighted to have his local airport in Madeira named after him this afternoon.
Aeroporto Cristiano Ronaldo is now an official destination for globetrotters to visit and in a touching ceremony, the former Sporting Lisbon and Manchester United attacker said: “I know some people do not agree and I know some people who are not here would be happy for this moment. I will try to dignify Portugal and especially Madeira with a spirit of sacrifice, dignity and passion.”
In a glittering career that has seen him win 3 Champions Leagues, 3 Premier Leagues, La Liga, 4 Ballon d’Ors, a European Championship winners medal and countless other accolades, it’s fair to say that Ronaldo’s trophy cabinet must be absolutely wedged.
One picture that’s unlikely to be going anywhere near his mantelpiece, or on his wall, are these images of a sculpture that’s supposed to be made in his image.
What do you reckon?
Has the statue of Michael Jackson outside Craven Cottage finally been topped?
For a very handsome man, Ronaldo has had some appalling luck with statue-makers pic.twitter.com/M74YEDng4c
