Preston fan offers to swap kidney for Manchester United tickets on Facebook

The magic of the Cup strikes again

Unfortunately, ticket vendors don’t accept human organs as a form of payment

Michael Jackson (no, not the one you’re thinking of) has lived in Johannesburg, South Africa for the last 25 years, which means that he is unable to travel to watch his beloved Preston North End play live.

However, the 52-year-old is determined to see his side take on Manchester United in the FA Cup, using any means necessary. Even if that means giving up a vital organ.

Jackson has been garnering some attention after he started a campaign on Facebook vowing to donate a kidney in exchange for tickets to the game. According to Jackson, attending the landmark game for his side is an absolute necessity.

I’d sell a kidney to get a ticket. Someone suggested I should ride a giraffe, I’d do whatever it takes. I’d even swim from Cape Town to the River Ribble.

It is on TV but I want to be there in person cheering on the Lilywhites. But it is impossible to get a ticket.

On February 16th, Preston welcome Manchester United to Deepdale in the FA Cup, and here’s hoping Jackson gets to see the game with all his vital organs still inside his body.
