Premier League challengers in line to snare Zlatan Ibrahimovic next summer for free

He'll love life in London

Zlatan versus Jamie Vardy.

We can see the headlines now as the Swede takes on the England goal-machine in next year’s Premier league to see who comes out on top as the top scorer.

Vardy may not be at Leicester by the time the new season kicks off, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic may well be plying his trade at a London club according to The Sunday People this morning.

They’re suggesting that Arsene Wenger could be temped to sign the enigmatic PSG frontman when he becomes available on a free transfer next summer.

Earlier this week the 33-year-old said he was too old to play in England, but the newspaper are reporting that contact has been made with several English clubs by representatives of the Swede ahead of his contract running out in Paris this summer.

He has been linked with a move to the MLS or the Middle East, but the 33-year-old is understood to be keen on a move to London, and it’s obvious, ahem , cultural interests.

He also is said to be interested in working with Arsene Wenger, as Arsenal may be also able to afford his massive wages by saving any money on a transfer fee.
