Christmas is over. We’re heading into the decisive part of the season.

Arsenal still hold the advantage at the top of the table but Manchester City are too close for comfort. To date, both teams have been very consistent which means that, from now on, any slip-ups will prove costly.

It’s often said too that to win a League title, you have to win the big games and they don’t get any bigger than the pair of blockbuster clashes ahead of us this weekend.

When you hear derbies, you think big and when you think of the biggest, you think of the Manchester derby and the North London derby.

This weekend will be an absolute feast in front of the television. On Saturday, we’ll watch Manchester United host Manchester City and then on Sunday, the very next day, we’ll see Spurs and Arsenal duke it out at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

Oh, how Antonio Conte’s side would love to ruin Arsenal’s title aspirations.

It’s not just those two games, there are some other belters in store too and, all things and all games considered, here’s our best five-team accumulator special for the weekend ahead.

Chelsea to beat Crystal Palace 8/13

Yes, Graham Potter’s Chelsea have been on a terrible run of it in recent times but, with that much quality in their squad, it’s only a matter of time before they pick up a few wins. Crystal Palace too, have been struggling of late and this presents the perfect opportunity for Chelsea to kickstart their season.

Chelsea ratings

Man City to draw with Man United 3/1

Manchester United are back in business, playing the way Erik Ten Hag wants them to play and that’s why we’re backing them to stall City here. Pep Guardiola’s side have been up and down of late, with the manager struggling to nail down his best 11.

So they might just struggle to break down a side boosted by the resurgence of Luke Shaw.

Liverpool to beat Brighton evens

Liverpool have looked like a shadow of themselves so far this season but, while consistency has been a huge issue, they still have good performances in them.

Mo Salah has been hot and cold at times but this could be the game for him to make his mark.

Tottenham to draw with Arsenal 5/2

Derbies don’t come much bigger than the North London renewal and, whatever way you look at it, there’s a hell of a lot riding on this one.

Spurs have been typically inconsistent this season but one thing they have shown is spirit. Which is the hallmark of Antonio Conte’s teams.

That will surely come in valuable in this crunch clash, and with Harry Kane rounding into form, with Matt Doherty finally nailing a place down for himself, we fancy them to slow down a rampant Arsenal.

Brentford to beat Bournemouth 5/8

Brentford have arguably been the story of the season so far and while Bournemouth have been decent in patches, a trip to the Brentford Community Stadium is expected to be a step too far for them. Brentford to win.

At odds of 72/1, it looks like your best bet for the weekend.
