Police are investigating a carpool karaoke video involving Liverpool players Dejan Lovren, Marko Grujić and Lazar Marković.
The video, which was posted to Instagram but has since been removed, features the trio singing ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ while Croatia international Lovren is driving and his teammates are in the passenger seat and back seat.
Intended as a light-hearted comedy video, the clip shows Lovren taking his hands off the wheel and looking at a mobile phone, prompting authorities to launch an investigation.
Sky Sports cites a statement from Merseyside Police explaining they have been made aware of the contents of the video, which the club say was promptly removed from all of the club’s social media channels.

Lovren has made five appearances for the Reds this season, scoring his first goal of the campaign in the 2-1 victory over Chelsea, after playing 39 times in the 2015/16 campaign.
Grujić, who has been nominated for the Uefa Golden Boy award, made his first Liverpool start in the 3-0 EFL Cup win at Derby.
Marković, meanwhile, is currently spending the season in Lisbon with Sporting Clube, for whom he has already played five times since joining on loan in August.
Despite the developments, Lovren starts against Swansea in the lunchtime kick-off.
