We’re practically at a loss to describe how truly bizarre West Ham United’s latest piece of official club merchandise is. When Liverpool started advertising this abomination, we didn’t think it could be beat. We were wrong.
The Hammers are of course leaving their beloved Boleyn Ground at the end of the season, to move into the Olympic Stadium with its 54,000 capacity. It’s all very exciting but obviously an emotional wrench at the same time.
It makes sense that the club would want to mark the occasion with due class and dignity. And so the official club shop are selling a range of ‘Farewell Boleyn’ items, the pick of which is foam hand stadium replicas.
