Since Paul Lambert confirmed that Roy Keane did confront Tom Cleverley at his house, more sightings of the former Ireland captain are coming to light
The Aston Villa boss revealed that the confrontation between Keane and Cleverley actually happened although, it was a lot more civilised than the rumours made it out to be.
I spoke to Tom this morning really briefly and he assures me that what is being portrayed is certainly not what happened. That was it, really.
I’ve probably spoken about Roy more since he’s left than when he was here. I think you (should) give the guy a break.
From the brief chat I had with Tom, it certainly wasn’t how it was portrayed. That was what Tom told me this morning.
Remarkably, since Lambert spoke out about the incident more people have come forward with photographic evidence (just go with it) of sightings of Roy Keane at famous events throughout history.
It is unbelievable that these photos have never emerged before. Literally unbelievable.
You would think that someone of Roy Keane’s status being present at such high profile events would have been known to the public before but seemingly this was not the case. For reasons unknown to us, these photographs are only coming to light now.
