Bayern Munich did something a little bit special on Saturday for one of their diehard fans.
The Bundesliga giants trounced Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0 at the weekend to strengthen to make their winning of the Bundesliga title all but an inevitability. Robert Lewandowski bagged two for the good while Thomas Muller added the coup de grace to see off Frankfurt.
While it was a phenomenal performance by the Bavarians, it was particularly magical experience for one young American fan.
15-year-old William Stuhlreyer from California had his dream fulfilled when he met the Bayern Munich stars as part of the Make-A-Wish foundation.
William suffers from Barth Syndrome, which is an extremely a rare and serious genetic disorder with only 200 or so confirmed cases around the world. The condition causes heart muscle weakness, immune deficiency and growth disorders.
Mario Gotze made ensured that he made sure the young fan got the most out of the day.
