Lionel Messi celebrated scoring his 400th goal for Barcelona at the weekend by putting on a wife beater and grabbing a needle.
No, the Argentine hasn’t become a junkie, the ink enthusiast just tried his hand at the art of tattooing.
After helping Barcelona secure a 2-0 win over Valencia, Messi took the tattoo gun to famous tattooist Roberto Lopez, and gave him some new body art.
Now, before you get your hopes up, this was clearly Messi’s first attempt at tattooing someone. So, don’t expect the piece to resemble the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.
The Barcelona superstar gave the tattoo artist a very basic number 10 on his wrist, and while it may not look like much, the fact that it was given to him by a multiple Ballon D’Or winner will make it priceless.
